Can you tell us a bit about the healthcare packages you offer employees?

Golden Hippo offers 100% employer-paid health benefits. The company pays 100% of the employee’s premium(s) and 75% of the dependents’ premium(s) for medical, dental, and vision. We’re happy to say that we’ve always offered a top-of-the-line healthcare package, so we didn’t need to change much during the pandemic. Instead, we focused on re-emphasizing the importance of taking care of your mental health in addition to your physical health by highlighting the mental health resources that are included in our award-winning healthcare package. We also remind employees that sick days can be used for mental health days, and we offer an Employee Assistance Program which is free, confidential, 24/7 counseling and support services.
